2020 State Individuals:

When & Where?
Monday February 17, 2020 at Tewksbury High School

All Around competition: 12:30pm Check In 1:00am Meet Start
Individual Events: 4:00pm Check In 4:30pm Meet Start

What is it?

The state individual competition is a competition to highlight individual performances at the high school level in both the all around and all four individual events.

Who qualifies?

All Around:
The top 15 all around athletes from north and the top 15 all around athletes from the south. We then take the next top 10 athletes from both the north and south to have a total of 40 all around athletes.

Individual Events:

The top 15 athletes from the north and the top 15 from south on each of the 4 events. Then we take the next top 10 gymnasts from both the north & south to have 40 gymnasts on each event. A gymnast can qualify to 1,2,3 or 4 individual events.

How does a gymnast qualify?

A gymnast qualifies by the average of their top 4 scores from the regular season. Important! If a gymnast has competed in the All Around 4 times or more their All Around Average must be submitted to try and qualify into the All Around competition. If a gymnast’s All Around score does not make the top 40, then they may use their individual event scores to try and qualify into the individual events.

How do you submit your gymnasts averages?

There will be no seeding meeting to qualify your athletes into the state individual competition. You will be emailing HSGYMCOACH@GMAIL.COM
